Beat 6

Officer Chad Petty

October 2011

This month I met with three people in my Beat. I met with Donna Guerrero, Amadueu Deras and Maria Silva.  I first met with Mrs. Guerrero.  Mrs. Guerrero did not have any complaints or concerns at this time.  Mrs. Guerrero attended our National Night Out festivity at the Jane Long Garden.  Mrs. Guerrero stated she enjoyed seeing the neighbors, which most of which she already knew.  I then met with Amadueu Deras at her residence.  Mrs. Deras was cleaning house at the time I met with her.  Mrs. Deras had been invited to our National Night Out.  Mrs. Deras stated she was unable to attend the National Night Out due to having plans that night.  Mrs. Deras informed me she did not have any complaints at this time.  Later in the month I spoke with Mrs. Silva.  Mrs. Silva currently lives in Beat 1, but was watching her nieces and nephews at her sister’s house on this day.  She advised me that she spends a lot of her time at her sister’s residence.  Mrs. Silva stated she notices a lot of foot traffic at night on her street.  Mrs. Silva stated there have been some neighbor’s houses that have been burglarized or vehicle windows broken out of them.  Mrs. Silva informed me none of her property has been damaged or destroyed and is thankful for that.  I informed Mrs. Silva I would pass this information on to other Officers and I supplied her with my business card.

This month the junk vehicle from 609 Front #24 was removed from the residence.  I did not locate any new junk vehicles in my Beat this month.

On National Night Out my Beat party had over twenty people and it was a great success.  We had a good time cooking hot dogs and everyone meeting their neighbors.  I want to thank Stephanie Foster for all the help she gave me in getting the party together.  Next month I will be looking for a needed family for Santa Behind the Badge.

This month I met with my registered sex offender Robert Aguilar.  I had Mr. Aguilar complete a monthly sex offender registration form and I turned it in with my beat report this month.
